I was at a till this morning, in a high-class store. The cashier looked deeply upset. I said, "What's it like working in Sea Point [our suburb]?" She didn't answer. I said, "They say it's the most difficult place in Cape Town." She looked at me, and said: "Thank you. Thank you. Thank you." OBSERVATION: It was very diificult for me, too, when I arrived, with all the ruthless people around. Now, wife M. claims that Sea Point is afraid of me!
