
It may not be unusual, in South Africa, to drive across defunct railway lines ten times in a day. Yet all the signs would suggest that they are still in operation. Thus people generally ignore the signs. There may, however, be functional railway lines not far from the defunct ones -- and just the same signs. This strikes me as being a rather hazardous mix. I snapped this crossing at Assegaaibos.
