Sentenced

One of my counsellees was jailed today for five years -- yet with an option (gained on appeal) of release under correctional supervision. It was a high profile case and has been headline news throughout the country. He caused a lot of harm, and will need to be under supervision for all of his life. But in the midst of all this, he experienced a spiritual revival, and was baptised in our Church. Eight months ago, he wrote me a moving testimony -- which so far remains confidential.
