Fuller Alumnus

Well, that's nice. Fuller Theological Seminary in Los Angeles granted me life-time Fuller e-mail and life-time Fuller library services -- and then some, as the Americans say. Among other things, I get free MA courses to keep me up to speed. I think that seminaries which do this are doing a good thing both for the alumni (past graduates) and for themselves.

My alma mater, Durham University, gives life-time e-mail forwarding services to alumni -- very useful, as they've been around longer than any extant ISP and will probably be around long after they've gone.

It seems to me that Durham were pioneers in this area. Fuller were slow on the uptake, but I really like what I see, now that they have got to it. The one thing that irks me about Fuller is that they claim the right to surveillance of their esteemed graduates.
