Theology = Focus

I spent part of this morning studying another minister's (lengthy) Pastoral Report -- for the reason that this was a popular, dynamic pastor, yet the Church had taken what I saw as major retrograde steps. This was a useful exercise. I saw it as the theology. Theology is the key one uses to interpret Scripture, and that in turn determines where one will set one's focus -- and there you have the whole story.
