This may be the only sign today that the
Round Church once stood at the intersection of Regent and Kloof Roads in Sea Point, Cape Town. Built in 1878, the Round Church housed four denominations. In time, the different denominations established their own Churches, and the Round Church was demolished. A fire station stands there today -- and a statue of Queen Victoria.

Note also the Dolls House substation in Mouille Point at the entrance to the park.
As a teen, I worked as a waiter at the Dolls House. I knew it inside out. A Church member was the accountant at the back. A wonderful landmark, concept, and talking-point, but it deserved to fail as a restaurant!
