After The Crime

This is a general observation, about crime. I am not necessarily speaking of "thuggery", but include some sophisticated and subtle crimes as I think on this post. In my experience, people often get away with a crime. Their crime is well planned, well executed, well hidden -- but what they do next, whether the same day or the same year, may be dangerous -- to themselves. OBSERVATION: For this and other reasons, I think, people who are dealt a blow by crime may be advised not to quit when it seems hopeless, or when the odds are against them. The unravelling of the crime often lies in the victim's resolve, and in unforced errors after the fact -- and not seldom these are spectacular. Apart from that, from the point of view of faith, God may choose to reveal any situation -- in His own time.
