Church Women

This is a photo that some might appreciate as a memory. It is members of the Women's Association at Sea Point Congregational Church -- during my time as Assistant Minister there (1983-1984), or perhaps shortly before. I knew all these women well, but for one or two. OBSERVATION: I often called the Women's Association the "backbone" of the Church. Even as the average age of the Church dropped, and congregations became more diverse, they continued to be the "backbone", and their Association grew and grew. You may click on the photo to enlarge.
