Yes and No

I had a problem last year, with false statements by Presbyterian ministers. With some delay, I have responded now to the Presbyterian Clerk (below). But it is a problematic situation. The Clerk -- for now, anyway -- took charge of the matter, writing that he would "advise on the way forward". Behind the scenes however, verbally, he made it clear that he would not take the matter forward. Such conflict between written and verbal or public and private is something one will come across in ministry -- and this post is an illustration of how I approach it. Ideally, one should have a record of what happened in private. In this case I do. One may click on the image to enlarge.
