Intimidation is something that comes up quite often in ministry, and it comes up in various (inventive) forms. In a more recent situation I was involved in, an elderly uncle visited a nephew, then sought to drive him from his own home. He would stand over his nephew's bed with an axe held high in both hands, so that the nephew would awake to the sight of the axe above him. OBSERVATION: I encouraged the nephew to keep his cool, and work the uncle out -- something in which, happily, he succeeded. It was terrifying for the nephew.
