For two terms, I have taught religions and cults. For this, I have relied heavily on Artificial Intelligence (AI), which one might understand as a super-intelligence, accessed through one's computer.
Does AI make a difference to teaching? Yes. It improves the quality of teaching a great deal. It means that difficult facts and concepts are at one's fingertips. Take a difficult question: "What types of cults are there, and which is which?" AI will answer this quickly.
Does AI replace the teacher? No. I don't believe it can. The teacher has the knowledge and experience to know what to ask AI. For instance, "What do the cults teach about salvation?" The student may have the ability to ask some such questions, but not all.
