Catholic Church

It’s been a Catholic week this week. Wife M. and I visited a nearby Roman Catholic Church this morning. The photo shows a section of the congregation. The priest told the stories of two Catholic priests who were gunned down for taking a stand on the evils of society. He said that we live under the sign of the cross, and therefore we need to take suffering upon ourselves by refusing the corruption that surrounds us. OBSERVATION: The Church was fairly full. This stood in stark contrast with the Presbyterian Church I recently posted on -- which is hardly a stone’s throw away. I would hope that the priest was not referring to himself in his message. That’s not unthinkable.
