Moravian Mission Kareedouw

This used to be the old Moravian Mission outside Kareedouw, some 600 km east of Cape Town (the Church in the background, the manse in the foreground). Five years ago, it was converted into a hotel, with a honeymoon suite closest to the camera. My wife E. and I had what I have called a "pre-honeymoon" here, after our wedding, during the celebrations. OBSERVATION: In 1945, Ouma Martha donated the plot to the Moravian community, to build a Church and a parsonage. 62 years later, the Church decided to sell and build in the village.
