This is an
intuition that I have about ministry -- I believe it would be true. I have done a lot of pastoral counselling (that is, thousands of sessions), and have found that, particularly if the counselling has dealt with -- call it
deep guilt -- then this may convert into anger against the counsellor between about one and three years later. However, this is by far not always the case (see
Special For Life).
OBSERVATION: Here I think there may be big differences in pastoral counselling and clinical counselling -- but so much for one post.
