Linguistics And Theology

I now have a fleet of articles published by The Philosopher and its sister publication Philosophical Investigations. However, two of a total of ten still have "provisional" status. This morning I gave these some attention. The most recent article explores the relationship between Linguistics and Theology. OBSERVATION: This is a very important relationship, even if one thinks that it shouldn't be. The fact is, it has a profound influence on Churches everywhere. Not that the average congregant would know it, but it is there. The Oxford Dictionary of Philosophy has picked this up, and calls it "worrying" (see • language game). My article, incidentally, would be very different if it were written for a theological journal.
