Wife E. is delighted that some
vetplante (succulents) she planted on our plot are thriving. One never knows what might "take" with only intermittent care. A Presbyterian elder plucked these from a Presbyterian Church garden and gave them to her. I joked: "Trust a Presbyterian elder to steal from his own Church" (Presbyterians and Congregationalists, historically, have goaded one another).
OBSERVATION: We kept these a long time in damp paper, too, before re-planting them.
