There may be the temptation in ministry to obtain the assistance of an expert -- in finance or property or law or psychology (and so on) -- where that person has the expertise but not the character. I would advise: don't do it. If their character is flawed, the path may be hazardous. Firstly, such a person may be more susceptible to undue influence. Secondly, where a person is flawed in one aspect, they may well be flawed in another. OBSERVATION: And never fall to the temptation to take someone on board a Church leadership chiefly for their expertise.
