They taught us in seminary that one may typically expect 10% involvement of members in Church life outside of the Sunday services. Under my ministries, this has however been much higher. In my present country ministry it stood at about 80% through all of the first phase of my ministry there, while in my previous city ministry it stood at around 30%. Higher, though, if one counted the Youth. How did it come to be higher than usual? I think I would put it down to Biblical and spiritual content above all -- something we deliberately introduced to all groups -- as well as spiritual input by members, and personal attention to where they were in their lives and spiritual walk.
