Tolerant Of The Disabled

This morning I saw a past handyman of the Church. He had had a crippling stroke. In fact I didn't recognise him at all. Only after I left the room and left the home did I remember his eyes. After a time in hospital, his family had taken him in, to care for him. OBSERVATION: I will make this observation, about our Black and Coloured communities: they are very tolerant, in various ways. While I think this has its disadvantages, something I see again and again is this: these communities are tolerant of the sick and disabled. Our White community is not. It puts them away. I don't mean to cause offence with this observation. I know it is not that simple.
