Biggest Protest

For good measure, here is another photo of a protest / memorial service I photographed in Cape Town last week. It is the biggest protest I have ever seen in St. George's Cathedral -- and it spilled out of the cathedral and onto the street. The next biggest protest I saw at St. George's was the protest against the government's policy on HIV / AIDS in 2006, at a time when 800 people were dying of AIDS in South Africa each day. You may click on the photo to enlarge. OBSERVATION: I was surprised, last week, to see how many ministers of religion are involved in "the resistance" in South Africa. It is a great number.
