Metaphysic and Linguistics

I was encouraged this morning to receive feedback from a linguist on my metaphysic. She thought my grasp of linguistics is excellent. I consider that one cannot propose a new metaphysic (a total philosophy) without a revolution in the theory of language. Wittgenstein had a similar conviction, yet he was unable to break effectively with the ideas of his time. OBSERVATION: When I asked a (former) dean of the University of Cape Town where I might find tutoring in linguistics, he said that linguists "are like chicken's teeth" in Africa. I found one, in fact two, who helped me. My latest article on linguistics is Language: Two Himalayan Mistakes.
