Written 14 years before the sinking of the Titanic, this book contained any number of similarities to the real event. Although it was renamed "The Wreck of the Titan" only on the sinking of the Titanic, it was from the start a book about a passenger ship called the "Titan", which struck an iceberg and sank. The relevance of this to ministry is that ministers so often encounter situations which are as confounding as this. This applies in particular, in my experience, to premonitions of death (where there was nothing to indicate that this might happen), and life-saving coincidences.
