Alas, my blog suffers under poor timing. Today it was due to my car's electrics blowing out. This post is about my metaphysic, or "total philosophy". It was important to me what the people who "matter" would think to the first complete, bound copy of my draft metaphysic. I therefore distributed it to leading philosophers, thinkers, and writers -- and friends. The response could have been no, your philosophy does not work. But the feedback I received was enough to tell me I was "on a winning wicket", however imperfect my work might be. I was puzzled, though, why some did not respond. This week, therefore, I asked them. I haven't (yet) learnt more about my metaphysic, but I have been heartened by the responses. I'm glad I asked.
