Pilfering

My late wife Mirjam and I started in ministry with fourteen silver teaspoons. We used these to cater to Church people. By the time of her death, ten silver teaspoons had walked from our home. They went little by little. Among the four which were left, two were those which had family initials inscribed on them. OBSERVATION: Much the same happened with communion glasses in Church. They were sought after items. A vast number went missing. One Sunday we stopped a young woman with five in her hands behind her back -- after she had taken communion ... where one repents of one's sins.
