Penitent Thief

It isn't often that sinners are penitent. I once caught a man thieving in Church -- a regular churchgoer. I said nothing, and I didn't need to say anything -- he was caught red-handed -- and he never came to Church again. Out of the blue, I received a telephone call: “I have been in hospital, Sir. With TB, Sir. I ask you to forgive me for all my sins, Sir. And please pray for me, Sir. Do you accept what I say, Sir?” I said “Yes.” OSBERVATION: Somebody asked me: “Did you ask him what he needed forgiveness for?” I met him again recently, and it seemed like meeting a long lost friend.
