An article has been doing the rounds about the "suicide" of the Christian Church in the West. I read it first in the Sydney Morning Herald. Here's an extract -- here referring to the clergy:
"They love the Church but, my God, they are smothering it. They have transformed a faith that only extended as far as it did through preaching and martyrdom into something anxious and introspective, excessively concerned with gender pronouns and saving the redwood tree."OBSERVATION: I think this pretty much sums it up. The reason for the success, so-called, of my own ministries was that I took this to heart.
