People say my ministr(ies) have been characterised by big ideas that worked. This is surely true. Many big ideas -- such as groups, events, schemes -- worked and continued to work. At the same time, there were big ideas that didn't -- mostly because they were not realised. Here is one. I proposed that we create a small doorway through our Church's stonework, to open into a trendy café in the garden. The café would double as a witness. The café was approved -- however it didn't get off the ground. The doorway depended on the café. OBSERVATION: It is interesting that various big ideas were implemented after me -- two in the last year that I know of.
