Today I sought to lay charges at our central police station for harassment, for anonymous calls. I have lost count of how many such calls I have received. At least 100. Possibly as high as 500. These are human calls, not machines. A police detective discussed it with me, and advised me to lay charges -- however in the charge office they told me: "It will not go further. The case will be closed." That on the basis that they consider the calls to be untraceable. I should add: untraceable by police. They suggested another way. OBSERVATION: I am again receiving anonymous calls. I could have let it slip, but after events took a decidedly dark turn three months ago with my abduction at gunpoint, I am not taking chances. The ease with which people can place anonymous calls deserves to be addressed. It is not good.
