We learnt last night that wife E has -- as best we can tell -- a degree, through one of Africa's largest seminaries. She received her marks (or grades) for her final semester -- and it is a pass. The news fell on her "second birthday" -- the government, in her ID documents, has her birth down to two very different dates: 13 April and 13 November. She excelled in some subjects -- particularly pastoral subjects -- but needed to rewrite the last one twice. It was Apologetics -- which includes such things as Aristotelian logic. OBSERVATION: This is a very special achievement for the girl from the plateau. It was a long journey. Her employer says: "She is amazing and an inspiration to all."
