The Lion And The Lamb

There is a passage in the Bible that puzzles many people. Is it literal or figurative? Spiritual or material? It is about "the lion and the lamb":
"And the wolf shall live with the lamb; and the leopard shall lie with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little boy shall lead them. The cow and the bear shall feed, their young shall lie together; and the lion shall eat straw like the ox. And the infant shall play on the hole of the asp; yea, the weaned child shall put his hand on the viper's den" (LITV).
OBSERVATION: This week it occurred to me that this is what I have seen and experienced in ministry -- all the more so in city ministry. People who are completely incompatible outside of the Church come to love and serve one another within the Church and "live side by side".
