Scarecrow Torso

This is the last month that my parents-in-law will be on the plateau where they have lived all their lives. When they leave, they will leave their old scarecrow behind, too, to the elements. I have previously shown the scarecrow's face, at Scarecrow. Here is his torso. He is a work of art -- but not just a work of art -- he is the real thing. His name is Sangoma (Healer). He hasn't done much good, though. Baboons and birds, porcupines and caterpillars, have all seen through him, and feasted on the crop. You may click on the photo to enlarge.
