High Noon

In the analysis of my metaphysic, we are not going to solve what are now looking like very serious planetary problems. In fact to speak of it as climate change fails to see the larger dynamic, which I put down to the scientific method (I expand on this in detail). In other words, our greatest pride is our downfall. In 1992, the rock group ELP sang: "Ain't nobody gonna walk on water." That is, barring a miracle, we are not moving towards a solution. That was almost twenty years ago. And just one example. In 1966, when I was a boy, researchers found 386 dead albatrosses in a Pacific wildlife refuge. They examined 100 of these, of which 74% had ingested 241 items of plastic. We knew about plastic more than fifty years ago. OBSERVATION: In fact, I think that ELP, in their song Black Moon, are optimistic.
