Something one needs to expect in ministry is having people put you in a very difficult spot. If only every dilemma were an easy one. I was reminded of this now, looking at the latest news headlines. South Africa's Public Protector just received a maladministration complaint against ... the Public Protector. I wonder who thought that one up -- or maybe it was the obvious thing to do. OBSERVATION: There are a few difficult spots in the Bible, too. For example, Joshua got into an undecidable situation in Joshua 9:14, and "did not seek the counsel of the Lord". That is what it comes down to sometimes -- the Lord alone knows what to do, and one should appeal to Him.
