Calvinism and Continuance

This is a post from experience, so whether it is borne out by facts or not is beyond my knowledge. It seems to me that Calvinist ministers are generally tougher specimens in ministry. I would put it down to their belief that ministry is a sovereign operation of God. This has the benefit of strength and endurance for the minister. But I sense there is a downside. The congregation, too, is a sovereign operation of God, therefore they may be entrusted to divine power more than they are ministered to. OBSERVATION: There needs to be a balance of both. It would be interesting to hear how others view this.
