Finding Unfindable Culprits

In 2013, beginning with my Church vestry, I experienced many raids of my personal papers. I estimated at one point that half of all my papers were seized -- many thousands. My losses included a few vital papers, too. This blog documents some of what I experienced. However, this post is about the one exception to the rest. In every case, no raider could be identified -- except one. That was the first search I ever experienced, in 2008. I had written a circular letter in the event that a crisis took a wrong turn. The raider didn't know that the letter was not real -- and showed it around. OBSERVATION: And this gives the clue as to how to find a raider. Have a fake document among your papers -- but make sure you can show it is fake!

POSTSCRIPT: I omitted something. It is standard procedure, if one experiences a raid, to document what was taken, and have that certified.
