One Birthday Call

I received one phone call for my birthday last week. It was my mother. But rather than being a sign that I was generally forgotten, it is a sign that phone calls are history. I received more than 100 birthday wishes besides, through other channels. OBSERVATION: Since then I thanked (almost) everyone personally. I remember a time when birthdays meant phone calls from morning until night. Once when I commented that this was interrupting my ministry, my father reminded me that it is ministry -- one of the best opportunities to connect with people.
