Benefits on Both Sides

Many years ago now, the state decided that it was best for our Church to exchange all its incandescent lights for fluorescent lights. Whom did this benefit? Well, both sides. And this reminds me that, when people seek benefits, they often think only of their own. In fact, there may be benefits for both sides. It then pays to spell out the benefits for both sides. OBSERVATION: The Church's incandescent lights had a warm feeling about them (their colour temperature). The new incandescent lights were harsh -- and they weren't all equally bright.
