A question that ministers often ask themselves is, if there is significant strife or conflict between members or office-bearers of the Church, how fast do I act? Immediately? Or wait? Yet wait on what? And for how long? My answer to this question is: act decisively, within 24 hours, not in a preliminary way, but to approach a conclusion. If one doesn't have a conclusion in that time, one should have a meeting scheduled, with attendance secured. OBSERVATION: There are various reasons for this. A failure to act brings peril and complication, jockeying and hardening of positions. Prompt action, on the other hand, often does the Church good.
