Trauma in Speech and Writing
I was listening to someone recently, who had experienced trauma. It is interesting that, in my experience, people have trouble both speaking and writing the greatest trauma of their lives. For instance (I forget the exact words), "I had a a had a dis disabled child." As if they find it hard to express -- and surely they do. OBSERVATION: This stumbling or getting stuck may seem to contradict what they actually say. For instance, "It was no difficulty for us, to have a a have a dis disabled child." Often, if one is paying attention, such incidents in speech and writing are easy to pick up.
