There are some things re electronic design that I just have to guess at. I don't know what will happen next. I am now designing a "body detector": I manufactured my own low-value capacitor with two plates. I wired each plate to different yet identical high-frequency oscillators. What would happen when, alternately, I brought a hand near to each plate? I had two guesses:
1. The oscillators would oscillate in sympathy with one another, no matter what.
Or, 2. One oscillator would speed up while the other one slowed down.
Both guesses were wrong. I haven't yet worked out why. The intention is to create perfectly balanced oscillators OBSERVATION: On my oscilloscope, my body detector is working well. But I need to add a load to the circuit yet, such as a piezo buzzer. Sometimes that works perfectly; at other times it stops the design in its tracks.
