I picked up this photo on Takeua Burnett's Facebook page, whom I know. It is the first time I have seen the old leper colony in a photo. It is the tiny islet towards the right of the photo, at the reef -- or it was. When I was a boy, there still were lepers in the islands. We taunted the leper children. They chased us, and we ran. We were under strict instruction not to touch them.
