Rejection and Acceptance

I am not "into" writing philosophy articles -- but there are a few important subjects I have wanted to address. With this in mind, I wrote three articles, which together went through hundreds of revisions. One by one, I submitted them to a world top ten philosophy magazine. The first was rejected. The second was rejected. This morning, the third was accepted: "This is a great article, and it is exactly what I was hoping that you would write for us one day." It is on African philosophy. OBSERVATION: I know that I am capable of writing to a very high standard -- but one begins to wonder. A fourth article was "claimed" by a top ten magazine, but has not (yet) been used. I do not like that approach -- it wastes a writer's time.
