European Needs

I said to someone the other day that, when I began to be involved in (future) wife E's world, I was a little worried that they would not understand my peculiar European needs -- not least, because these were rural situations. One obvious example is the absence of doors in some homes, or the absence of walls. But I need not have worried. They understood -- and thoughtfully sought to cater for my European ways. OBSERVATION: It would still be too much for some Europeans, though not for me. I became accustomed to many things as a "missionary kid".
