African Traditional Religions

I am teaching a university-level course which includes African Traditional Religions. At the same time, I am familiar with African culture. Even where African Traditional Religions have been replaced with Christianity, the cultural carry-over is huge. Many behaviours which one sees in Southern Africa can be traced back to African Traditional Religions -- and yet so little is understood about those Religions.
