The injuries a boy sustained in the USA when an octopus gripped him has been much in the news. As a boy, I hunted octopus with my guardian Temeeti. We walked up onto the beach one day, with Temeeti holding an octopus -- and on the beach, we met my parents. We began to talk, and Temeeti forgot about the octopus -- which attacked him, and in my memory, did worse damage to him than the octopus did in this photo.
OBSERVATION: How it did that, I don't know. We would kill them when we were still in the water -- a technique which I still remember today.
