Catastrophic Consequences

Seven years ago now, I was abducted at gunpoint, and interrogated -- a gun to my back, and a gun to my side. Before that, I was afraid of nothing and no one. I dealt with the gunmen confidently, too. Afterwards, however, I suffered symptoms of PTSD, and a sense of terror descended upon me. Earlier this year, finally, the terror evaporated -- after seven years. That is not an unusual timeline. But none of the mayhem would have been possible without certain people. Their actions had catastrophic consequences. Finally, in the last few weeks, I reported some. OBSERVATION: Soon after my abduction, two men were sent to jail for their involvement.
