Roosterbrood

E. and I today bought roosterbrood in a village near Swellendam. The village is too small to appear on the map -- it may be called Buffelsjagrivier (the name of a nearby siding). Roosterbrood (roast bread) is a passion in some cultures. I thought this roosterbrood was very good. Wife E., who roasts it herself, thought it a little yeasty. We tried it for the first time at our Church FĂȘte just over a year ago. It sold like ... hot cakes.
