I had the pleasure of meeting these two long lost relatives in Cape Town this morning. They belong to a sizeable Mennonite clan in Switzerland, which is essentially united by (late) great-grandparents. My late wife belonged to this clan. They asked me in Züridütsch whether I still understand Züridütsch (my late wife's mother tongue). I think so.
OBSERVATION: It is interesting how a single couple seems to bind together so many descendants. It all seems to converge on them.
