Every now and then, I am surprised to find that one of my copyrighted designs has gone into production (I relinquish all claims on a design once a copyright has been sold). Often it is produced with a crucial twist. Here is my Big-Ears Buggy of 2002. It would drive in one of three different directions in response to a clap. Now a company has produced the Turning Frog. It, too, drives in one of three different directions in response to a clap. The difference is that my Buggy's response did not follow any order, while the Frog's does. OBSERVATION: This makes the Frog more viable for production, but it takes away the Buggy's "personality". Is the Frog really based on my Buggy? I think likely it is.
