Water System Sunk

I have not reported much adversity of late. This does not mean that it has not continued apace. As an example, our water supply was stopped recently when the main supply pipe was twisted. At the same time, someone broke into the house and opened up both hot and cold water taps, completely draining the system. That combination is ruinous. Wife E. and I tried to rescue the situation. I climbed onto the roof and fed the hot water system directly with water while she worked the pump. The suppliers took the hot water system apart and examined it in situ. They gave us the benefit of the doubt, and repaired it. Besides, they said, they had been oversupplied at no cost with the replacement tank.
